Solutions to four bad problems of automatic soldering machine
Oct 09 , 2021Solutions to four bad problems of automatic soldering machine
1. False soldering problem: false soldering generally refers to that the solder joint looks ok in the welding process, but in fact it is not fished or the amount of tin penetration is not enough. The main reason for this is that the stay time of the soldering iron on the pad is not enough or the temperature is too low.
Solution: we can solve it by prolonging the residence time of the soldering iron or raising the temperature. If we don't know about the false soldering, we can specifically understand how to avoid the missing soldering of the automatic soldering machine.
2. Tin stacking problem: Tin stacking generally refers to welding and spot welding into a ball without leakage of pin legs. The main reason for this phenomenon is that the amount of tin is too large, and another reason is that the pins of electronic components are too short and the solder pad is not exposed.
Solution: it can be solved by reducing the amount of tin or leaving a long pin.
3. Continuous welding: continuous welding generally refers to the phenomenon that several adjacent two solder joints are bridged together in the soldering process. The reason for this phenomenon is either too much tin feeding or too small gap between the two points.
Solution: in this case, first reduce the amount of tin, and then check whether the position of the soldering tip is correct. If not, adjust it in time. In addition, it also depends on whether the size selection of the soldering tip is correct. If not, it should be adjusted in time.
4. During the soldering process of the automatic soldering machine, sometimes the tin wire will get stuck: because the welding temperature is set too low, the tin feeding speed is too fast, and the tin feeding needle is too close to the soldering iron head, the tin wire at the front end of the soldering iron head is too late to melt, which is easy to cause the tin wire to get stuck.
Solution: adjust the position of sending the tin needle, keep the distance between tin wire and iron head, adjust the tin feeding speed in the machine parameter, adjust the temperature setting.
Only by correctly understanding the possible problems of the automatic soldering machine, can we deal with them calmly and handle them easily in case of any failure or obstruction during use. Therefore, it is necessary to have a sufficient understanding of the use of automatic soldering machine.
